“Giving Tree” to Benefit the Erlanger-Elsmere Family Resource Center-
Because Viox & Viox has been located in Erlanger, Kentucky since 1945, the firm maintains a strong connection to the neighborhood. For the past several years, Viox & Viox has worked with the Erlanger-Elsmere Family Resource Center. The Resource Center works with the Erlanger-Elsmere School District to provide necessities to needy school children. Each Christmas, Viox & Viox decorates a Christmas tree with ornaments listing gift requests from local children in need. Employees choose ornaments and donate the requested gifts which are then distributed to the group of very surprised and appreciative children.
NKSPE Annual Golf Outing to Benefit the Professional Engineers Scholarship Fund-
Jim Viox has been one of the organizers of this event since its inception. The event includes lunch, golf, and dinner and raised over $10,000.00 this past year. Several Viox & Viox employees volunteer their time to help organize the event.
Canned Food Drives to Benefit Fairhaven Rescue Mission, Welcome House of Northern Kentucky, and Erlanger Baptist Church Food Pantry-
Viox & Viox has held several canned food drives throughout recent years to benefit local community organizations.
Event Sponsor for the Grant County Chamber of Commerce annual Derby Dash-
Viox & Viox has been an annual sponsor of the event which benefits Grant County public health programs. In addition, several employees enjoy participating in the annual 5K Run/Walk and post-run festival.
Habitat for Humanity Home Builders Blitz-
In June 2006, Viox & Viox worked with Drees Homes to help provide 5 homes in 5 cities in 5 days. Viox & Viox donated our plot plan services for the 5 homes which were built in Latonia Lakes, KY; Emmitsburg, MD;McKinney, TX; Durham, NC; and Indianapolis, IN.
