For the fifth consecutive year, Viox & Viox is honored to award two graduating Lloyd Memorial High School students with $1,000 scholarships. The James H. Viox, Jr. Memorial Scholarship was created in 2020 to mark the 75th anniversary of Viox & Viox and is named after the Erlanger firm’s founder, James H. Viox, Jr. (Lloyd High School Class of 1934).

This year’s scholarship recipients are Praise Treanor and Jonah Purnell!

Praise Treanor will be attending Brigham Young University and plans to get her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Praise was the editor-in-chief for the LMHS school newspaper and was also actively involved in several organizations, including National Honor Society, student council, the academic team, and chamber choir!

Jonah Purnell will be attending Bellarmine University to pursue a doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jonah was heavily involved in sports, but particularly excelled in football. He was also involved in other extracurricular activities such as National Honor Society and the gender equity committee.

We are so proud of these high-achieving seniors and wish them the best as they begin their college careers.
