AN Inside Look at Civil Engineering
Civil Bites & Insights is a hands-on civil engineering experience designed to give students a real-world look at civil design. Through site planning, land surveying, interactive activities, and site visits, students see how classroom concepts come to life while connecting with professionals across civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture.
This experience is built around mentorship, hands-on learning, and open conversation. Whether your interests are in design, project coordination, surveying, or development, Civil Bites & Insights offers insight into the many career paths within the civil industry and how each role contributes to meaningful projects.
At Viox & Viox, we believe in investing early and creating opportunities for students to explore where they fit in the field. Many of our team members began their careers as co-ops or early professionals, and this event reflects our commitment to learning, collaboration, and growth. Join us to build connections, gain clarity, and take an early step toward your future in the built environment.

My favorite part of the event was the hands-on map activity. It was really insightful, and everything was explained very clearly. It was a great experience, and I’m thankful I had the opportunity to attend.
