About Walton-Verona Intermediate SChool

The Walton-Verona Intermediate School campus was designed with long-term functionality and growth in mind. Viox & Viox provided comprehensive civil engineering and permitting services to support the development of the school site.

Civil design services included demolition planning, site grading, utility layout, and the design of the bus and parent loops, parking areas, and driveway connections. Stormwater detention and water quality measures were incorporated to meet local and state regulatory requirements. The design also included new sanitary sewer connections, a water service line extension, erosion control, and detailed site construction documents.

Viox & Viox coordinated closely with the owner, client, and other project consultants throughout the design process. Stormwater management and erosion control calculations were prepared in support of required permit applications, including submittals to the Boone County Planning Commission and the Kentucky Division of Water. Additional support included attendance at design review meetings, preparation of bid-phase documents, construction documentation updates, and limited construction administration.
