about Waters Edge Event Center

Viox & Viox provided full civil site design, land surveying, and traffic engineering services for the new Waters Edge Event Center, an 8,763-square-foot facility situated on a 14.46-acre site along the Ohio River in Warsaw, Kentucky. This scenic venue offers a unique gathering space for events while contributing to the local economy and tourism in Gallatin County.

Viox & Viox collaborated with Wright Contracting, Spahr Development, and Roenker Engineering to bring the vision for this event space to life. Our team led all external site design efforts, including site layout, grading, erosion control, utility coordination, stormwater management, and signage. We also completed field surveying, topographic mapping, and agency research related to existing utilities and infrastructure.

Given the site’s riverfront location and proximity to KY-35, special attention was given to entrance design and traffic safety. Our engineers prepared AutoTURN exhibits, performed sight distance evaluations, and provided assistance with the KYTC Encroachment Permit application to ensure safe and efficient access.

This project required careful coordination between design disciplines and permitting agencies. Our team provided detailed construction documents and guided the permitting process from start to finish, delivering a well-integrated site plan that balances function, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance. The result is a beautiful and functional riverfront destination that reflects the strength of partnership between client, consultants, and community.
