ABOUT Kellogg Park Pickleball Courts and Walking Trail
The Anderson Park District partnered with Viox & Viox to enhance Kellogg Park in Anderson Township, Ohio, transforming the park into a more dynamic and accessible community space. The project focused on expanding recreational offerings within the nearly 5-acre site, providing amenities that encourage both active play and leisurely enjoyment.
Viox & Viox led the design of the site improvements, which included six new pickleball courts, a shaded shelter area, and a looped walking trail approximately half a mile in length. The project team, which included the Anderson Park District, Neyra Paving, and Viox & Viox, collaborated closely to ensure the project met the community’s needs and aligned with the long-term vision for the park.
Viox & Viox provided a full range of professional services for this project, including topographic and boundary surveying, site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting, and bidding administration. The team also navigated complex county and flood plain permitting requirements to keep the project on track and ready for construction.
Construction was completed in May 2025, and the park is now open and ready for public use. With pickleball already in full swing, the improved Kellogg Park offers residents a vibrant space for recreation, wellness, and community connection.
