about licking river crossing

Viox & Viox’s land surveying department partnered with HDR, Inc. on this project for the Northern Kentucky Water District (NKWD).  This project involved the design and construction of approximately 2,900 linear feet of 36-inch water main from Licking Pike (KY 9) from an existing 36-inch water main in Wilder, Kentucky across the Licking River and connection into an existing 24-inch water main in Covington, Kentucky.  For this project, Viox & Viox performed the topographical survey, utility locations, boundary surveys, and profiling of the river which was performed from aboard a boat.
