JAMES H. VIOX, JR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS – CLASS OF 2021

For the second year in a row, Viox & Viox is honored to award two graduating Lloyd Memorial High School students with $1,000 scholarships.  The James H. Viox, Jr. Memorial Scholarship was created in 2020 to mark the 75th anniversary of Viox & Viox and is named after the Erlanger firm’s founder, Jimmy Viox, Jr. (Lloyd High School Class of 1934).

This year’s scholarship recipients are Elle Faris and Lennon Stolz.  Elle Faris will be attending the University of Cincinnati in the fall and plans on pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies. Elle has volunteered for the Cincinnati Zoo in the ZooTeen program since 2018, which includes visitor education and engagement services, as well as participating in children summer camps.  She is passionate about conservation and environmental issues and hopes to have a career in the field of Environmental Science.

Lennon Stolz plans on studying English, Music Theory, and Screenwriting at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.  Lennon was active in both Lloyd’s football and band program throughout high school.  In addition, he is very active in his church’s music program and has played the trumpet at several local veteran memorial ceremonies as a bugler.  Lennon aspires to have a career in Freelance Writing, Technical Writing, or Screenwriting.

We are very proud of these high-achieving seniors and wish them all the best as they begin their college careers.
