Viox & Viox designed a surface flow channel to convey large discharges of water from the process tanks of the Taylor Mill Water Treatment Plant to the Banklick Creek. The goal of this project was to solve the problem of severe erosion due to plant flushing operations at the treatment plant. This project involved the use of over 175 large local strategically placed stone boulders to create a reinforced aesthetically interesting drainage channel to the Banklick Creek. The project also included stream bank stabilization.
